2019 EV City Award - City of Flagstaff

This award recognized the City of Flagstaff for being a leader in the electric vehicle movement and taken significant action to increase electric vehicle adoption throughout the community.

Phoenix Union High School

2019 EV Public Education Award- Phoenix Union High School District

This award recognized Phoenix Union High School District for taking significant action to encourage adoption of electric vehicles or electric buses, and to educate their students on transportation electrification.

2019 EV Leadership Award - Arizona Corporation Commission

This award recognized the Arizona Corporation Commission for taking significant action to encourage the transition to transportation electrification.

SRP Board

2019 EV Champion Award - Salt River Project Board, Management & Staff

This award recognized Salt River Project Board, Management & Staff for contributed significantly to the electric vehicle movement in areas including, but not limited to, technology development, policy/advocacy or education/outreach or workplace charging.

2020 EV City - City of Tucson

The 2020 EV City Award was presented to the City of Tucson for adopting EV-ready building codes for residential buildings, purchasing zero-emission buses, and declaring a climate emergency that will accelerate the city’s work to rapidly decarbonize the transportation sector.

2020 EV Champion - Jim Stack

The 2020 EV Champion Award was presented to car enthusiast Jim Stack for his two decades of work advocating for EVs and educating consumers about their benefits. As President of the Phoenix Electric Auto Association, Mr. Stack has organized dozens of educational events for National Drive Electric Week and Earth Day. He has also faithfully represented the voice of EV drivers before the state legislature and the Arizona Corporation Commission.
